SUSTO Splash

The SUSTO Splash is exactly as it sounds. A refreshing cocktail made up of grapefruit, lime, ginger beer and mezcal that cools you down on even the hottest of days.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Susto mezcal square

1.5 oz SUSTO Mezcal

Ingredient Camarena

.5 oz Silver Tequila

Ingredient Grapefruit Juice

1 oz Grapefruit Juice

Ingredient Lime

.5 oz Lime Juice

Ingredient Ginger Beer

1.5 0z Ginger Beer

Ingredient Sal De Gusano

Pinch of Sal de Gusano

Ingredient Sparkling Water

Top with Sparkling Water

What to Do

Fill cocktail shaker a little over halfway with ice and combine Susto Mezcal, grapefruit/lime juices, tequila and Sal de Gusano into shaker and shake well (do not add ginger beer or sparkling water to shaker). Fill cocktail glass with ice and strain mixture over the ice. Top with ginger beer and sparkling water, stir gently and garnish with a grapefruit wheel.
